The Menier Chocolate Factory will be home to the first revivals of two of Willy Russell's most popular plays for an 8 week season from March.

Meera Syal is to play Shirley in in the one hander, 'Shirley Valentine'.

Laura Dos Santos and Larry Lamb will play Rita and Frank in 'Educating Rita'.

The two plays will run in rep together.

Very good casting although I would have liked to have seen Shirley and Rita being played by the same actress which was suggested in the other thread.

Wonder how the schedule will work and will there be opportunities to see both plays on the same day.
