Ok so my high school librarian knows what our musical is for the spring but can't tell us....heres what I know....or what she said rather....It has a SHORT TITLE and she had never heard of it and its not oklahoma. I've thought of a few

so can anyone think of any musicals that a high school might do with one or two words? i know most of those are shows a high school typcally do but just in case....

How can they see with sequins in their eyes?

Well. Who hasn't heard of CATS, FOOTLOOSE, CABARET, ANNIE, CAROUSEL, CHICAGO, EVITA, FAME, GREASE, HAIR, OLIVER, FUNNY GIRL, DAMN YANKEES, ANYTHING GOES, SHOWBOAT, SOUTH PACIFIC, or SWEET CHARITY?

I would say that she's probably heard of all of those musicals. Plus, a short name would lead one to believe that it's one word - one short word.

I would rule out the following immediately:

Follies
Chess
Swing
Assassins
Company
Dreamgirls
Falsettos
Ragtime
1776

My money would be on:

Camelot
Aida
Honk
Mame
Pippin
Titanic
Seussical

um, most high schools will not do productions of chicago and they CANNOT do productions of wicked.

Good News and The wiz were both musicals that my highschool did that were really suprising.
