Wow. These powerhouse ladies put on an incredible night of singing from the gut. With guests including Leslie Odom Jr., Matthew Morrison, Broadway Inspirational Voices, and a member of Pentatonix, audiences were truly left stunned. Why isn’t Shoshana a bigger Broadway name? Her voice is jaw-dropping.
I don’t, but the ones I remember are Shoshana on “All I Want for Christmas” and “Chestnuts Roasting...” and Cynthia doing “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “War is Over.” “Come All Ye Faithful” was both ladies and the Pentatonix guy, “Winter Song” was Cynthia and Leslie Odom Jr., but I don’t know the song they did with BIV (which literally shook the building) or the Chanukah song they sang (never heard it, and I’m Jewish). Matthew Morrison did his own song (I forget the name; it’s the Hawaiian one). I’m sure there are a couple of others that I’m forgetting. They ended with “O, Holy Night.” “Night Divine” indeed!

Thanks! I'm seeing her at the Appel Room this week. Hopefully it won't be just a "holiday themed" concert.

She has said that her focus is music and she isn't interested in being on Broadway unless its a project that really interests her."
Well, then Broadway composers need to get on that and give her something as special as her voice. I’d buy a ticket for whatever she’s selling after last night.
I saw her autistic set last month in LA and I'm still on a high from it. Shoshana is in great voice and spirit.
"I never had theatre producers run after me. Some people want to make more Broadway shows out of movies. But Elliot and I aren't going to do Batman: The Musical." - Julie Taymor 1999

It shouldn’t be. They are filmed for broadcast in the Spring on PBS.
