Should I see In the Heights?

Since Lin is now gone, is the show worth seeing. I want to see a show on sunday but don't know which one to go to...any suggestions?

Imagine that you were the actor given the opportunity to step into this incredible role (Usnavi).

You're not going to just mimic Lin Manuel, because -- well, you know why.

You're going to embrace this powerful person, and develop your own unique understanding of who Usnavi is (etc. etc.) and you're going to soar.

Not the same as Lin Manuel, but as if alongside him

Forget it. This show is so tight, (future) cast changes are only going to make it more fascinating/fabulous.

(Tho I love me some Lin Manuel...god!)

See it! Lin is incredible but without him the show is still incredible! GO SEE IT! And he is still in the show till Sunday.

Definitely see it! Lin will still be there if you go on Sunday, but I've seen JAvier as Usnavi and he is fantastic.

I saw it with an understudy who was great. I was disappointed that Lin was out, but I thought the show worked well even without its creator.

JoeKv99 what is your issue? It was just a simple question...and you feel like your so much better than me when I just wanted to see if I should see a show when I only have 3 days in NYC. You need to grow up and stop being immature

Go see it....unless you have a time-machine and can see him in it...but I guess if you had one, you would not be trying to make that decision,,,the again, if you DO have a time-machine...Can i use it to see the OBC of "Sunday in the Park with George"???

Might as well see it. I didn't think it was that great. His performance was great, and you could tell his heart was in it, but the show was just sort of "meh" to me. I still think Xanadu was the Best New Musical last season.

A MUST SEE!

I went last night (my third time since last summer & fall). I thougth the cast was very strong. For a second, I almost forgot how great of a musical it is. Glad I was able to catch Lin-Manuel Miranda before he left. :)

After trying and trying for what seemed like weeks to get a ticket for Lin-Manuel's last perf on Sunday - I finally scored on Ticketmaster. Jump while the jumping is good.

See it! It is a great show with an outstanding cast. I'll also be there for Lin's last performance on Sunday night. I can't wait!
