Ideas for a Inexpensive Portable Show Deck for Musical about Teenagers. HELP?

that depends on your definition of inexpensive, and your definition of portable.

Portable like you can put it in the trunk of your car, or portable like you will rent a truck to transport.

What do you need it for exactly? Decks are usually for tracking or adding to the atmosphere of the set, which is uncommon for what I assume is community theatre.

The space is very, very intimate and has a black box feel an it is indeed to add atmosphere. 
18' wide by 10' 
Portable as in, yes, put in the back of a Truck

4x8 sections of masonite built atop a simple frame of 2x4s that are locked together underneath with bolts. Depending on the size of the truck, that should work for you. Heavy as hell, but still...

What Sean said but use coffin locks instead of bolts. Quicker and more secure.
