Just got latest issue today

Alledgedly 10 songs written so far & casting thoughts:

Nathan Lane - Monster
Broderick - Dr Frankenstein
Roger Bart - Igor

Nathan Lane will be a very short monster I'd think. I'd of hoped that they would have gone a different route and not made it a Producers cast reunion show.

How would Broderick even attempt Dr. Frankenstein? I mean, you can't play Dr. Frankenstein like Leo Bloom/The Foreigner/Felix. You can't. But he would.

Now THAT would be interesting. In a train wreck sort of way. It was only a matter of time before Lane and Broderick attached themselves at the hip... but I wonder which would play Daisy and which would play Violet?

Nathan's been quoted as saying that he doesn't want to work with Matthew after Odd Couple. Not that they hate each other, but it's time for a rest. Matt has signed on to do that new play about the astronomer (the title escapes me) and Nathan may do Catch Me If You Can....

Having said that, if a show is entertaining who the hell cares. Many an original idea has gone down in flames. Moose Murders comes to mind

Mr Roxy...who do you know at Show People?? This is the only reason I can think of that you have gotten the latest issue.


I just received the Patrick Wilson issue about 2 weeks ago!!! This means another month at least until this issue of Show People shows up here in SF!

It might be me..but I always believed that Mel Brooks only cast funny people. And we all know that the only funny people in town are the original cast of The Producers. So, what's all the fuss? That's like saying Idina Menzel could play someone white. And that's just crazy!

I know no one. I think I missed an issue or two & this was in todays mail. I think there is no rhyme or reason re their method of sending out issues. I am not even sure I got the Patrick Wilson issue
