Posted: 11/12/04 at 12:02amDo any of you know which of the various tourist/Broadway stores have the lowest prices on the show posters? I know I've paid as little as $10, but admittedly that was several years ago. The store under the Marquis sells them for $20, but I'm pretty sure they can be found for less. In fact, the store clerk said as much. Any tips on where would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Posted: 11/12/04 at 12:15amThe Broadway New York shops (Marquis and Theatre Circle) sell them for the MOST. You can get the cheapest ones at the shows themselves ($10-$15,) but Triton Gallery on 45th between 8 and 9 sells almost any poster from anything EVER - they're older posters can be quite expensive, but they also have everything current, and they're usually $10-$15. The best place to go is Triton gallery. I collect them and have well, alot. Go to triton gallery. The frames are 20 or 25 for the simple do it yourself size.

Triton is a poster-lover paradise! On-line, there is also Broadwaynewyork.com. They don't seem to be keeping up their inventory like they used to but they have lots of old posters for $12.95. Here are some sample prices on some current and recent shows:
