Show Stopping Tenor Songs??

I need a really big song (anything up to a top A/B) not a really mainstream song, something a bit different if possible. Up tempo, BIG song. If anyone can help that would be great!

Are you looking for a contemporary/Broadway pop song or something more traditional?

I think "What Do I Need With Love?" only goes up to a G. What about Petrified from Taboo? AWESOME song, with (originally) a high B, but Raul sang it a 1/2 step lower, and I sing it a whole step lower. :-/ Just don't have that B... PM me if you need sheet music :)

I hold a degree in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University. It is useless. Now I'm funny for money. Oh, and I sing.

Thanx all, i have already sung 'What Do I Need with Love' before, you're right it is a great song. I need something higher though, i've got the london cast recording of 'Taboo' i will listen to 'Petrified'. If anyone can think of anything really contemporary or something quite old, rodgers and hammerstein in style. Thanx again!

How about "Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat" from Guys and Dolls? I'm not a fan of the song, but it has a couple of nice B flats.

Wildhorn has written some pretty impressive tenor power ballads.

You could transpose Gethsemane from JCS up a tone and do the legit version.

You'll Never Walk Alone in a high key works quite nice as a tenor song.

Maria from WSS has a really long B flat
