I did a search I couldn't find much information. What shows, other than Wicked, will be playing Chicago later this summer? Just wondering.

Sorry to disappoint you, but the only other show playing Chicago this summer is The Lion King. Most of Chicago's main theaters for musicals stay rather empty or book long-running mainstays that they know will sell tickets consistently over the summer.

While broadway in chicago tends to die around this time chicagos theatre scene is hardly dormant right now.
Some of my current favs:
-Funny Thing...(Marriot Lincolnshire)
-Romeo and Juliet The Musical! The People vs. Friar Lawrence the man who killed Romeo and Juliet (Chicago Shakes)
-The Comedy of Errors, Short Shakespeare (Chicago Shakes)
-Dollhouse (Goodman)
-Closer Than Ever (Porchlight Music Theatre)
-Red Scare, From Fear to Eternity (Second City)
-Too much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind (Neo-Futrists)

Frankly, broadway in chicago is horribly overrated. u can find much more amazing stuff a little less main stream.
