Shows You Wish You Could Change

I was watching "Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway" and I was thinking about things that I would want to do to, in my opinion, improve it. Even though I loved Rent, I admit that it's flawed. Are there any shows that you love that you want to improve? Included in this for me is "Into the Woods".

No shw is perfect. I could probably think of at least one little thing I'd like to change in every show.

I'd put the song Valentines Day back into Rent. Love that song.

How about change *back*? My cast recordings and various reports suggest Jekyll and Hyde was great until it got to Broadway.

rmusic, off the top of my head I would make just a few changes about the sort of 'sung dialogue'. Like when Collins comes, it just seems like it was singing for singing's sake. I may come up with a few more things as I continue to watch it again.
I would just tighten up some of the many, many plots of Into the Woods. It just has some issues.

I'd change Sunset Boulevard so it was written by Sondheim. Or AT LEAST so that it better reflected the brilliant movie from which it was adapted.

I'd change Follies so that their younger selves (and that goes for everyone) do not appear until half way through 'Waiting for the girls upstairs'

However, I would still have ghostly showgirls dancing in the dark during the prologue
