I was wondering what were some shows, if any, that barely went through any changes during the previews. Thanks!

I don't think Hair has changed at all.

They actually restaged a lot of "Aquarius" during previews

Other than minor lyric and dialogue changes, Next to Normal didn't change at all during Broadway previews (but changed drastically from 2nd Stage to Broadway).

What did they change in Aquarius? I saw it the second week of previews...I loved it the way it was. I really love when the curtain just drops.

One show that didn't change one thing from its pre-Broadway run in London was 1988's legendary flop CARRIE. Most of the cast, including Charlotte d'Amboise, was quite shocked that nothing was changed or corrected during the show's Broadway previews. The entire show remained intact from London to Broadway.

Ethel Merman was notorious for freezing a show. I don't think the original "Gypsy" was changed much.

Billy Elliot
9 to 5 went through tiny fine tuning changes.
I don't believe any of the Disney shows really did, well during previews at least.

yes Aquarius was different but they changed it in the first week of previews. i saw it in the first week and went back the second week and it was different. right now they don't have anyone in front of the curtain, minus the people in the boxes. before they had allison case walking around with a big incense stick and more people crawled through the audience to the stage. now they are all on stage right in the beginning of hair. actually, check the video out on the hair cast blow of them doing Aquarius. thats how it was. oh and in next to normal they had the crib come down in the beginning of previews but then they took it out about 2 weeks in.

I'm not sure if this is true, but I've heard that 'Rent' went through little transformation during Broadway previews.
