There isn't an intermission written in PIPPIN or JOSEPH ... but most theatres add them.
Are you talking about main characters or secondary ones? Musicals only or plays as well?

Frogs - Shakespeare and Shaw don't show up until Act II. I think also Pluto.

Eponine doesn't come out until the very end of the 1st Act (I just like to call it the second act).
Edit: I have a better one, Mordred from Camelot doesn't come out until the second act.
