Shows the week before Tony's?

We'll be seeing shows the week before the Tony's. Do the stars of the shows ever take that week (or the Saturday night before) off from the show? I'm not familiar with what any tradition might be. Thanks for any input!

It is Tonys* and actors don't miss performances that week.

It's an exciting time to be seeing any of the nominees that week. There's electricity in the air and the excitement is pumped up a notch. I have never had an understudy the week prior to the Tonys, although I had quite a few the week following.
