I have an open slot for a matinee today and before I went to the TKTS booth after striking out for lottery I wanted to pick your brain. I’ve heard a lot of people going to Company and getting cheap, non rush seats. Any other shows doing that? I have Company tickets for next weekend.

On the evening of MLK Jr. holiday, friends & I decided to see Six last minute but had a budget. We were able to snag Orchestra C tickets for $79 an hour before curtain. Those same seats were retailing for $189 throughout the day. I’ve heard others throughout this forum have gotten great seats for $49 at Six doing the same.

Outside of an official policy, it's pretty much all dependent on the generosity of the box office staff and whether or not they are willing to lower the price.

Has anyone tried this for Phantom and Wicked before? And if yes, how much was it?
