Phantom & The Producers and no more Lane/Broderick casting unless they do Brokeback as a Musical - What is taking them so long to get married anyway, Sarah Jessica??

Oops! That was when I still liked Wicked! I forgot that I still had that avatar!

Rent's film version, loved it at an advance screening, but I think I was just excited to see it on film, and not having seen it onstage in several years. Viewing #2 & 3 made me realize it's poorly constructed, and just so much better onstage.

Onstage wise, not too much I've grown to dislike if I like it originally.

Phantom of the Opera, RENT... I never really liked Wicked but I went from being just "Eh" about it to actually hating it... Thoroughly Modern Millie, Aida OBC (the show is my guilty pleasure, but I think we can all admit Adam Pascal wasn't right for the role of Radames)
Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

I loved the boy from oz and saw it more times than i care to admit, although it never lost it's sparkle when i saw it i no longer want to hear any of the songs for as long as i live.

The producers is starting to lose it's sparkle for me (on the 6th viewing london and NY combined) but i will still see it again when the london leads change.

Wicked.
When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere

I realized that the reason I really loved Wicked was because of the performances given, but now I realize its not the best show ever, but I still like it.

Jekyll and Hyde...When I was in 8th grade I loved it. Now....it's probably one of the worst musicals.

Brookyln...Liked it until about a week after I saw the show. I analyzed it with all of my friends and I realized that it sucked.

re: Shows you adored, but then started hating it.

There are no shows that I loved and then "hated". There are shows that I have lost interest in or were replaced by other shows. I think that Wicked and Grease kind of fall into the category the best. I liked both shows a lot when I was first exposed to them---but now I think they are just over-hyped and discused way too much to the point that I got tired of hearing about them. I also used to love Jekyll and Hyde and I still adore the score, however, I do notice the flaws more now than I did when I first bought the concerpt recording.

Joseph...was a sentimental favorite cuz it was my first show. Now, I hate it. It's a fun show, yes, but really stupid when you think of it.

Grease - Obsessed with this when I was like 11, and by 14 I was like...wow, this is really shallow ****.

re: Shows you adored, but then started hating it.

the wiz,
I did this show with a local theatre company (Glinda/no bad news singer) so I decided I wanted to see the movie, BAD idea....

why why why Diana Ross???? why??? she should NEVER have done this movie. In fact, there shouldnt have been a movie. It was just bad. They cut so much. And added stupid songs, and made NY into Oz. Hello? Did the director have a brain?

Oh wait...
