One of the things that I really like about country music is that each song tells a story, and usually ends the story during the last verse. Most showtunes are the same in that they tell a chunk of a story. This is something normally not heard in recent pop music etc. So do you think that more showtunes could be succesfull crossover hits (such as For Good)?
