They are looking for an actor who is 20's-30 to play Shrek. Vilanch is a bit old. Maybe he can play Father of Shrek

Here's an idea: American Idol reject/Dan Fogler lookalike Chris Sligh as Shrek.

If they are going to keep the jokes about Lord Farquad's stature, the role should be played by Peter Dinklage.

how about they just DONT make a shrek musical....seriously, it almost makes me start crying to see 'shrek the musical' brought to b'way
