There are very few Broadway shows that offer ANY sort of discount between Xmas and the end of the New Year's Weekend. Your best bet will be TKTS the day of.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I just deleted an email from Theatremania about Shrek. I'm assuming its for the last few weeks of the performance. Not sure about Jan 1st. I did get a discount for Next to Normal on the 30th through broadwaybox.com though when it wasn't available through playbill.com....

If your dates are flexible, I actually have tickets for the matinee on 12/23 that I purchased at a discount and am not using. They are front mezz which is usually $121.50 and I paid $85.50. If you're interested, pm me.
