Shrek bear

Am I the only one who was reading that article and saw the first picture and expected the Shrek bear to be about the size of the Billy Elliot bears, then I got to the picture of Brian D'Arcy James holding it and my jaw hit the floor...? Am I alone in that? Haha

No, it looks like he's holding a small child. I want to say they did this because the whole idea of Shrek is that it's this "Big Fat Musical" but still - very odd for a teddy bear to be about the size of a family pet.
