I saw the show recently (doesn't matter where or how
) and was wondering how they pulled off a special effect. At the end of the show, in the chapel, how does Fiona levitate. I can see no strings however a little platform (kind of hidden by Fiona) rises from the top of the altar table. Can someone explain?

Yes. I know how they did it on Broadway, I'm assuming it's the same for the tour? I haven't seen the tour version.
Fiona steps back, if you watch the counter thing two little lifts things pop out. They both fit each shoe exactly and it grips them. It then lifts up, and spins.
What I thought was assuming, I saw an understudy for Fiona once, she was quite a bit smaller than Sutton. Apparently the lifts were made exactly for Sutton's shoes cause with Sarah Jane Everman she literally just stood in place and spun. No special effects that night. But her shoes must have been too small for the lifts.
