YES. Shrek is going to be huge on Broadway--even you Disney haters will love it. :) I'm not a fan of the movie to musical genre we've got going on right now, but I'm a huge fan of Shrek (and Hairspray I might add!). The creative team has really been doing wonders at editing this show during the preview run in Seattle. If you saw an early preview, you really need to go back and see the show again as they've had many many changes--too many to list or even attempt to list. The show is at a very solid state for Broadway and I think this one is going to be around for a long long time. The acting, set, costumes, songs, lighting, dancing, etc. will have you asking for more.

Scaryclowns, I agree, the costume doesn't seem to fit Sutton very well. It look really tacky overall...Like it was made out of a bunch of green cloth napkins with some cheap crushed velvet.

Oh good, I'm not the only one who thought that.
Does Sutton's costume "expand" when she turns into an ogre? That's the only reason I could think of as to why it looked like it was drowning her...

Not in the least. I, too, agree that her costume is nothing too fantastic. I feel like she looks nothing like her movie counterpart, which should have been the easiest transition made (but, at the same time, could be the hardest, since you can't quite change her face around). Her costume just doesn't thrill me.
Sieber's, on the other hand... hoo daddy. Add that to the fact that he does an entire dance number in it, and I would be THRILLED for him to get a featured Tony nod come June.
Hello, he should get a LEAD tony nom, not just featured.
