I like the production design, Sutton looks beautiful as Fiona, and Sieber's costume is pretty great as well.

Seeing how well the black masking works on Sieber's costume, I wish they had done that for the mermaid legs in TLM. It would have helped the eye follow the body-line to the tail so much better than the "high-art" concept they ultimately went with.

I know Shrek isn't aimed at someone my age, but I'm always a little wary when a movie translation is so literal.

Obviously, I too love Sieber's costume. And I'm so happy to see what they've done with Sutton. She looks remarkably like her animated counterpart.

I also think what they did Sieber's costume was brilliant. It really does make you look twice at where his legs really are, it looks great.

And Sutton is so so cute, but she always is.

I want to see pics of John as Pinocchio!

NGD, I believe that Shrek's slightly more yellow in the picture so he will stand out from the green backdrop

But with Farquaad's costumes, do the fake legs move well? I imagine he could make them walk decently enough, but one of those pictures seriously looked like it was the middle of a tap, and they looked static as all hell...

Am I the only one who thinks that costume looks terrible on Sutton Foster?

I mean, the girl is gorgeous, but I'm really not digging the way this costume fits her...

Gingy later on ("Freak Flag") is HILARIUS. I love Haven Burton.
