Shrek the musical audition help???

Hey! So I just found out that a local theatre is having auditions for "Shrek the Musical" on MONDAY. And I'm going to audition! I need 16 bars of a musical theatre song from broadway.. I won't meet with my voice teacher until after the auditon!! I can sing any alto/mezzo soprano song.. But I don't have many days to learn it.. Are there any songs that I can easily learn and get the music for?? I have some wicked, thoroughly modern Millie, and les mis sheet music. I can get any of the music from those huge broadway books at the library, as well. please help!! So far I have learned Castle on a Cloud, which I do not like singing at all, and I am working on For Good right now... Any other ideas??? Thank you!

Well, I'd say you need a song that shows some attitude and quirkiness for that show. Something like My New Philosophy from Charlie Brown, Brand New You from 13, On My Way from Violet, Someday from Wedding Singer, Cabaret (title song). Keep looking :)

I'm auditioning for shrek too,but at a different theatre, I'm singing a song called "Fatty" and " master of the house" my audition is tomorrow @ 4:00
