Shuffle Along Rush Lately?

Has anyone rushed Shuffle along over the past few weeks, particularly since the closing announcement? Any information on how early you arrived and what type of seats you got would be much appreciated!

I went last Saturday (7/2). I got there at 9:55am and was only about 20th in line and still managed to get a ticket for the evening show. It was a holiday weekend, so this may not be the most accurate thing, but I would guess if you're there by 9, you should be OK.

I think rush seats are partial view ($40). I highly recommend standing room ($35, absolutely perfect view) for this show -- they usually sell those two hours before curtain. Performances with Audra tend to sell out and therefore offer standing room.

hes16, my seat was Orchestra, C 13 I believe. It was the the last seat of row C (the second row), house left. I could see probably like 90%. Moved to front row center on the aisle at intermission and THAT was a great seat. Yes, would have loved a little further back for the big picture, but to be that close for that price, no complaints here!

I was there today, and got in line at about 10:30, box office opened at noon. There were only about 16 people in line by the time box office opened. $40 tix, and most of the seats were the partial view box seats. Mine was in the second box, seat 1 and it was a great seat. Can't beat it for that price. Audra was on, although she doesn't do wed or sat matinees. Billy was out, bur Arbender was on and was really great.

Everything I find says that she does not do Wednesday and Saturday matinees. I can't imagine her making an exception then, even with it being the show's final Saturday.

ahh thanks so much Depaultheatrekid.   Billy makes for some large shoes to fill.  Glad to know that someone saw me in the show and said i was " really great"   you just made my day     Thanks...

I did the rush this morning (thursday). I got there around 8:45 and there were about 5 people in line (though some of them were together). I would up with seats in the Right Box, but they're seats so I'm happy!

^^^Is't that obvious from the above posts? I doubt they're making this up about getting rush seats for $40 each morning.

I use the best sources available,Broadwayforbrokepeople.com, Playbill....... and from what I knew Rush was not happening after the opening. Crap......How many freaking Hamilton threads do we have. Also I am older did not know if it is a STUDENT RUSH vs a GENERAL RUSH situation.... So thanks for your help @$$HOLE!

wow front row is a great seat but for this show, were you able to see their shoes tap from that angle? Not sure how high the stage is from the front row seat as I saw this from partial-view box (which is still a great angle)

Went today (Tuesday the 19th) and got there around 9:10-9:15. I was 24th in line. When rush was sold old there were still 4 people in front of me.  They said they would begin selling SRO at 5 pm. It seems that the show will be sold out because only premiums are left for tonight's show. However, I was able to get partial view seats in the front row center for the final performance.

It seems that if you're tall, it won't be horrible, but it will be hard to see their shoes. I guess that we will be sitting next to each other or close to each other on Sunday!

If I'm understanding PopAria, does that mean there are no tickets left for any of the remaining performances? Will they start selling SRO when the box office opens?

I believe that they are still selling rush when the BO opens. The SRO is always 2 hours before the show starts to my knowledge.

It is student rush only?  Does anyone know how early one had to get there this morning to get a ticket and do they accept credit card?

It is not student rush only. I'm not sure what an exact good time to get there would be, but when I went on Tuesday, I got there at around 9:15 and was 24th in line and didn't get in. Since we are now approaching its closing weekend, I would get there at least a few hours earlier.
