This Wednesday I am going to try for Shuffle Along rush tickets. I was wondering how the line has been and what time people start showing up.
Thanks
It's about the same as Color Purple. Or at least was on two separate occasions last week.
I say if you are there by 8:30, you'll be fine.
Here's a recent thread about this. https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.php?thread=1091681#4786521
There are 2 shows on Wednesday so you higher likelihood of you getting rush tickets. We arrived at 9am this morning and managed to get rush tix for this evening. I agree with the other poster though that if you get there by 830am you should be fine.
Good luck!
Just saw the show and was very pleased with it. Loved the tap! We sat in Left Box seats 3 and 4 (and we were one of the last few folks who were able to get a rush ticket). From our seats, I mainly stood most of the time so I could see the actors' feet! For $40, I really can't complain.
Savion Glover and his team were sitting on the front row center/left mezz. During parts of the show they were writing notes.
I wonder == is this show eligible for Best Musical or Best Revival?

This has been debated, I think the consensus being it should be original but they might try to argue for revival... it'll be decided in the last eligibility meeting...

Anyone who has seen the show, myself included, can tell you it's an original show, not a revival.
