I'm actually considering seeing this (a little bummed I missed Guys & Dolls).

The cast looks pretty solid, and tonight's the opening so I guess we'll have to wait for reviews... but is anyone else thinking of going?
The last time I saw Singin' in the Rain was some time ago at an outdoor theatre, so I'm curious to see how Ogunquit's production differs.

I saw Singin' in the Rain at the Ogunquit Playhouse last night. They did a fantastic job!
Also, last night was a preview, so we won't see reviews until the (official) opening night.
What was amazing was they had real live rain!
Also, Red Girl from S.H.O.U.T! The Mod Musical (her first name is Amanda) is in it.
I want to tell you more, but you will have to see it.

That's great to hear! And making me look forward to going even more.
I just saw some pictures from the production, and it looks fabulous. I'm also really excited that they got Jon Peterson to play Cosmo. My mom and I saw him in George M. Cohan Tonight! and he gave quite a performance.

Yeah, I was wondering where they got it from.
They also now have a video from their production:

Looks fantastic.

I've always wondered with this show if it's ever put in the right hands if it could succeed on Broadway(unlike the Twyla Tharp version in the 1980s).
Here's a link to a theater in Edison, NJ of their finale:

My mom and I saw this on a whim last night.
I can't tell you all how fantastic a production this is. The casting, costumes, sets, music and special effects were spot on (especially the rain!)
