Anyone know if and when they will release the cast album?

The first cast album will probably be the Original London Cast Recording, once the show opens there.

I believe Sant is correct; the premiere cast did not record a cast album, according to folks involved.

And with the current trend of London cast recordings, expect it to be live rather than recorded in a studio.

I don't think it will be live - that's more for the rock-based shows.

The live recordings have nothing to do with rock shows.

Zorro and Oliver are the latest to have live recordings, neither are rock shows
