While this show did not last long (by any means)Did any one else catch it? By the reviews ( Mr. Ben B) I was a bit scared but it wan't that bad.

I saw it & it was extremely slight....kinda sitcom-y....but harmless enough ....I thought it would be worse, but then I went in with a realllly low bar ....

Six Dance Lessons wasn't awful per se, but it sure wasn't any good either. It actually has a future although that future ought to steer clear of any major theatre, either in NY or the road. It is an unsophisticated simple-ish play that doesn't tax the intellect at all.

Its potential lies in bus-and-truck, stock, little theatre and the like. The play does have two star parts and could turn into The Love Boat of the hinterlands.

It will have a great run as dinner theatre, somewhere in the hinter lands. My claim to fame from this show was Mark Hamill had his butt in my face, ( While he was putting down the feet for the lessons)

Polly Bergen remains a terrific all around talent. She does it all and has done so for the last 5 decades!! While the show was not the best thing I have ever seen, Polly and Mark made the evening highly enjoyable. It would make a great PBS program now that it has departed Bway. Well I adore Bergen but I could not stand the production.
Mark Hamill was terrible and the writing was awful.
I left in intermission.
I could not sit through the second half.
