Opened to great reviews.  It could easily move to New York if producers were smart enough.

Wasn't there just a workshop in New York with Chester McGregory? Unless this is the same production I would assume that has a better chance of transferring. It also had ben Thompson too.

Yes.  This production is not the workshop and is not going to move to New York though it certainly could.

I just need to say the black man with the chizzled body..... well there are just no word, but he's a GODDESS! And his dancing!! Ugh. Chris was just amazing. Then Donica with that voice was brilliant! Such a talented cast altogether.
