I'm looking forward to seeing it. I just hate that theater. Anyone who hasn't been there.....do NOT sit in the rear orchestra..the overhanging mezz cuts off 1/2 your view. By the way, does anyone have a discount code for the show?

FYI -- top price for previews is $75 while they work out the kinks and they're on a very abbreviated schedule for the first month and a half, only doing 2-4 shows per week. They don't go to a full 8 show per week schedule until May.

Has anyone ever seen Tarzan performed at Disney World?

Yes, and that was pretty awesome.
I just don't hope that's a clone of that stage production.

Yeah, because I went to Disney World last August and saw the performance, and I really loved how they did "Strangers like Me" with them flying on the ropes. I thought it would look really pretty if they did it in the broadway show. Tarzan's playing on Disney Channel so I was thinking about it.

Zepka is that pic U?
Any chance of gettin U in a Loincloth?
Ok B& B was Disney's first show , so they went safe,
but the score and story and Disney's $ have kept in running and charming kids and (some) adults.
Then they went Artistic with TLK
and won all the awards and made Millions
AIDA was another chance with mixed results
and now they have the bucks to re do the Rodgers and take a chance with a first time director
Why the Hate?
Broadway is a business
Don't expect the Public theatre here
Ok Profit does not equate "good"
but they aren't producing GOOD VIBRATIONS or DRACULA
and they are bringing younger audiences to Broadway
and I am not a shill just a realist
Feel free to discuss and Disagree

What concept?

I am excited about seeing this on my trip to NY. I was even more excited to see that Margo had it on the list of things he was looking forward to seeing and hopefully that means it will be good. Last year I saw Chitty Chitty and I enjoyed that even though it didn't get raves.

I don't really know how I feel about Tarzan yet so I'm not really excited. I have tickets for August but only because my mother really wants to see it. Can't wait to hear what everyone has to say once it starts.
