Aida is played all the time - it's one of Verdi's greatest masterpieces.

Or did you mean the horrible Elton John show - with the score that made "three blind mice" seem like a symphony and a completely idiotic book?

I saw an ad in Backstage that they are looking for people to be in an AIDA in Virginia Beach, which isn't too far from where I live. I can't wait to see it.

It really said US Navy, but hey, I worked with what they gave me ok.

Aida confirmed for me that Adam Pascal was more than just Mark!

I really hope Beyonce isn't cast as Aida in the movie, the role is a toughie. She can't handle such a tough character, but if she is cast, I hope she will prove me wrong.

Aida looks like she came straight out of Africa but very beautiful, like Heather Headley. Beyonce has the beauty, but she doesn't look the way Aida does.
