Someone Who Has Seen Brooklyn, PM Me.

No message. I just want to know the answer to something, but would probably be a major spoiler.

EDIT: Thanks Yankee for the PM.

Somewhere in there, an ElphieInMyHeart joke is waiting to be told.

That was only part of my question.

And I didn't even need to see the show to know the answer.

Wouldn't it be funny if, when Brooklyn finds her father, he actually turned out to be a she, and had an even bigger, more fabulous show of his own in Chelsea?

For all the sense Brooklyn makes that may actually be the case! One couldn't tell from the book alone, that's for sure.

Does she find her daddy has been living under the Brooklyn bridge with the rest of them the whole time?

If I understood the end of the show I could actually answer that question Matt_G, as it is I'm still trying to comprehend how tears can make roses grow...

The only way tears can make roses grow is if they come from the Baby Jesus as he's crawling under the Brooklyn Bridge and looking for beautiful homeless girls who want to be pop stars.

Yes. BKLYN is about a young girl who babysits the Baby Jesus and loses him under the Brooklyn Bridge and searches and searches for him only to find out it is in fact the Baby Jesus and he is her heavenly father.

Now THAT makes sense to me. Have I told you lately that when you change someone else you change yourself while flying across a rainbow sky to once upon a time?

To show the show to know the answer?

To show the show to know the answer?

Point noted and correction made.

If I understood the end of the show I could actually answer that question Matt_G, as it is I'm still trying to comprehend how tears can make roses grow...

Won't tears just salt the earth, so that nothing will ever grow at all, not even roses?

re: Someone Who Has Seen Brooklyn, PM Me.

Interesting, BlueWizard. So BKLYN is really about a girl who wants to salt the earth to actually STOP things from growing and create a worldwide famine and kill us all off.
Well someone needs to stop her.
