Something Rotten - got my tickets upgraded for free

Hey, anyone else who purchased a preview ticket to Something Rotten get their tickets upgraded? I got a voice mail last night saying that because I bought a balcony seat (and because they decided to close the balcony for preview shows) , that my ticket would be upgraded to mezz! Woot!

So either the show isn't selling all that well (oops), or they decided during tech the view/sightline from the balcony aren't good. While Bring It On successfully filled the house without the balcony, even Bullets had it opened! Side Show didn't use it either.

Well, the balcony of that theater is AWFUL. It being closed is always a good thing.

Good to know about the theatre. Thanks! I was a "tiny" bit worried cause I had front row balcony/aisle and wasn't sure if mid mezz would be better.
