Bookmarked that page so fast! Can't believe it's already been ten years.

Was that the first of the many Sondheim/Rich onstage conversations?

"Can't believe it's already been ten years."

Nor can I. My two long weekends in Washington DC to see the six shows marked a special and significant point in my life.

I felt the standout productions were Company and Sweeney Todd and I enjoyed ALNM the least.

A shame they are not willing/able to include performance clips.

Warning: Do not click on the above link unless you are willing to spend 99 mins watching that whole interview.

I regret nothing.

Thanks for posting this. Like others, I can't believe it was 10 years ago now. Broadwayworld didn't even exist then!

I was there for all 6 productions - each was memorable in its own particular way. I also remember a bunch of us from the CASTRECL group met for drinks at the Watergate Hotel after a Saturday matinee.

Just to "complete the series" I stopped in New York on my way to DC to catch the revival of INTO THE WOODS running at the time.

Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!

I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com
