A beautifully written synopsis of Sondheim's PEN award ceremony.
My favorite ancedote...
"True collaboration waited until 2013, and the movie version of “Into the Woods,” in which Streep played the witch. He wrote a special song for her and she asked him to sign the sheet music. “Don’t **** it up!” he wrote on it. Both agreed that she didn’t, but the song was cut."

It was "She'll Be Back," right? How was that song? I noticed that it was a special feature on the Blu-Ray.

Love this.
Yes, that's the song, it's not a very strong song, and I say this as a Sondheim fanatic.
