I checked Tower Records today and it wasn't there. On amazon and tower and the bww.com release dates, they all have 2/14. However I haven't heard any follow up on anything since that date was announced.
Please anyone with info maybe clue us in to this latest dilemma. I've waited since last May for this as I'm sure some of you have too.

It seems as though they have been delayed again, Michael Bennett mentioned it earlier today in another thread, and they are no longer on the "upcoming releases" on ATC. All in all it does not look good.
Which makes me miserable, I have been waiting since early last year as well.

Posted: 2/14/06 at 9:32pmHow tragic, legendary shows such as these deserve better. Instead of being pushed off, they should be preserved and given better treatment

I posted this info on another message last week - they have AGAIN been delayed. Word is now "possibly" April. Seems SONY/BMG didn't bother to tell any of their retailers.
Since SONY and BMG merged in 2004 there have been some distribution problems with non-pop product. Many classic Broadway casts were showing as no longer available in their computer system, even though they were and are available. (Titles like MY FAIR LADY, KISMET, PAJAMA GAME.)
Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com

It sucks the only kind of music I make a fuss about is in the minority of record labels other than RCA/victor and shk-a-boom. We always get screwed over
Oh well See What I Wanna See in 3 weeks. March 7th!

It's so upsetitng to the people that actually buy this.
Funny story. While shopping with "C," we went to order Sunday and when we said the full title, the guy was like "Is that Geroge Harrison?"
I was like "No. It's not. It's a musical."

Posted: 2/15/06 at 12:19amAmazon, and other sites have removed it from their listings. I'd stop holding your breath. Sadly, I don't think these will happen anytime soon. But I'd love to be wrong.
