Posted: 7/8/05 at 12:52amFor all of you in the L.A. area, please consider coming to Stephen Sondheim's 75th birthdasy concert at the Hollywood bowl on Friday the 8th of July. It is really an amazing show and I'm in it! (well, I sing "Our Time" with a bunch of other people...but I'm still in it!)but there is so much talent in this concert. It will be a very memorable event.

Posted: 7/8/05 at 1:25amAnd for all of you coming to Chicago, or who live there, in late August, Ravinia Festival is having a celebration of Sondheim's 75th with a two-day run of Anyone Can Whistle w/Audra McDonald, Michael Cerveris, and Patti LuPone. It's a culmination of a five-year showing of his musicals there (with those three people + George Hearn), since his 70th birthday. They've done Sweeney Todd, Passion, Sunday in the Park With George, and one other (I forget which one). He will probably have a pre-show discussion like he did last year, I hope.
