I was listening to Into the Woods today out of randomness, and rediscovered how touching Sondheim's lyrics are in "No One Is Alone"
Sometimes people leave you
Halfway through the wood.
Others may deceive you.
You decide what's good;
You decide alone,
But no one is alone.
Which led me to a hunt for other touching, inspirational songs that I don't know about. So share yours favorites!

"Along the Way" from Pasek and Paul's EDGES:
"Oh Oh Life goes on
Things will be okay
Though Jorge's gone
Tomorrow is a brand new day
Everyone makes a couple mistakes
Somewhere along the way."
Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah - Spring Awakening
"Look To The Rainbow" from FINIAN'S RAINBOW is a beautiful song with uplifting lyrics. There is a line from the song that is very poignant, but it is not on the OBCR of 1947. I heard it on a recording of songs sung by Patti LaBelle. I look forward to seeing FINIAN'S RAINBOW in December, most especially to hear the complete song.
"Start by admitting, from cradle to tomb, isn't that long a stay." - Cabaret
"There's a brighter day, and we'll keep lookin' toward it." - 9 to 5
"I got through all of last year, and I'm here." - I'm Still Here
"Knowing that the darkest skies will some day see the sun..." - Light
"Life is around you and in you." - The Flesh Failures
Basically all of "This is Not Over Yet" from Parade.
