"Send in the Clowns" It was my grandfathers favorite son and he was my favorite person. Growing up I had a music box collection and every year for my bday and Christmas my grandparents would by me a new music box. The summer before my 10th bday my Grandpa was really sick. They knew he was going to die. He asked my grandma to take him to the hospital gift shop where he picked out my bday present. He was afraid he'd die before my bday and wanted my last gift to be from him. He did infact die the day before my 10th bday. That day my Grandma gave me his present. A music box that plays "Send in the Clowns". It is my most treasured possesion. All these years later and I still can't hear that song without crying! Rock, a mate of mine wants I'M STILL STANDING by Elton John played at his funeral. He also wants a springboard fixed in the coffin and a lid on hinges so on the chorus his body is flipped upright.

Amusing and yet, kinda gross.

I think "Make Our Garden Grow" from Candide is so right on that it always makes me a little teary eyed. It hits home what I believe on a spiritual level...
