Dressing them up- spider woman
shoes is a great number. it was cut from lucky stiff. I think it can be found in their revue "why we tell the story"
also, the song in Lucky Stiff, "Mr. Witherspoon's Friday night" is all about him taking inventory and then singing to and about his shoes.

If you know the movie musical "The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T" (with screenplay, lyrics and set design my Dr. Seuss) there is a fabulous patter song about clothing called "The Dressing Song" with music by Fredick Hollander (not sure about the spelling of his name).
There was a soundtrack album of the score put out in the eighties. I don't know if it ever got put onto CD, but Michael Feinstein sings the song on his album of Childrens songs, "Pure Imagination." (Though it was sung in the movie by Hans Conreid, so Michael's version seems like pure vanilla...)
