Does anyone know why there are no photos to be found of Marie from Act II of the current production of Sunday in the Park with George? I've scoured the web and can't find a one. In fact, I came across very few act II photos period. Is there a reason (other than that act II's modern setting is just visually less interesting) for this?
I'm mainly interested because Marie was not in a wheelchair in the London production, from what I understand. Yet I saw a photo of the empty stage at the Roundabout with an empty wheelchair in the middle of it. I'm actually hoping Marie is in a wheelchair as I think it adds the impression of age without the actress having to do an 'old' walk, which I think seldom works. I also think a wheelchair adds support to the fact that Marie is old/ill enough to have died shortly after we see her.
Marie IS in a wheelchair in this production, but I don't have any pictures. I didn't know she wasn't in the London production, but it definitely works well in the show.
Great! Thanks alicia!
Can someone provide a link to the production photos? (Not just of Marie)
