Does anyone know how bad rush has been for South Pacific? Also, any recommendations for how early to line up for rush?

I did rush earlier today actually, (Saturday, for the matinee). I got there at 11:50ish and there was one person there. Usually they are strict about the Tuesday-Thursday rush only but not today. We had great seats in row C of the loge in the center.

Oh, alright. Well I'm going to ny in august and I'm hoping to get rush tickets.

I know that Addams Family is strict about college IDs

I walked up on a Wednesday night a week ago and got a ticket for the 8 pm show at 7:40. The loge wasn't sold well at all and I moved down to 2nd row center orchestra at intermission. This is my favorite show on Broadway right now and I highly recommend it. They do check my ID more than just glancing at it, so I would make sure I had a college ID. Enjoy!

so they have rush tickets every day? Not just Tue - Thurs? I was thinking about maybe going tonight.

I don't think they definitely have it everyday, but I think it's worth a shot, especially if you haven't seen it yet. Last week, I had five friends who went at 6 and got tickets to the Friday night show. Definitely worth a shot, but don't be angry if they don't have them.

This may be stating the obvious, but keep in mind that once Kelli O'Hara returns, it may be harder to get rush tickets.

You can tix for SP pretty darn cheap these days.


I just picked up tix on tdf for under 40 apiece.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I don't find this surprising. I watched it on July 14, a Wednesday matinee, and it's already a full house! I think it's going to have a grand closing.
