South Park Title Sequence references BOM?

Hey guys... So I was just watching South Park on Netflix and during the title sequence I noticed that there is a shot that lasts about 1.5 secs that shows Butters in the doctors office with stuff shooting out of his ass. I watched an interview with Josh Gad that said in one of the early BOM drafts, there was a scene with Price in the doctor office doing this same thing. Coincidence?

Not so much a reference as a joke getting cut from a draft, they liked the joke and reused it for a South Park.

They also sing the opening. AND Book of Mormon is a musical!! I mean, that is almost creepy.
