South Park kicks it Mormon style

I feel the upcoming Bway season looks pretty blah... nothing really coming down the pipe is really exciting me.....except THE BOOK OF MORMON. Having watched South Park since the beginning and feeling Stone & Parker are true comic and musical geniuses, I think Book of Mormon could well be the surprise hit of the season. It also made me happy that instead of the doing the typical American Express presale (yawn), they are offering first dibs to their fans (March 23rd here I come!!). They have close to 17 million fans on Facebook..... it'll be interesting to see if the fans come out for this.

FAR from blah, young jedi. I,however, am not a fan of South Park humor, but am still curious about Book of Mormon.

I forgot that Stone and Parker are Oscar nominated composers. I'm looking forward to this.

As properly the only person on this board that has seen a musical based on the actual 'Book of Mormon' ("I, Nephi"), I really am interested in this. I use to be really into 'South Park' years ago.

After hearing music from Wonderland, I'm not excited.

I'm also tired of movies becoming Broadway shows.

I am excited for War Horse as well :)
