I am looking to try and get SRO tickets for a 8:00 weekday performance of Spamalot. Does anyone know what time the box office starts to sell these tickets at? Thanks.
They are sold when the box office opens at 10:00 AM. 12:00 PM on Sundays. 21.25 a piece.

Yes at 10AM, but get there EARLY! I'm not sure if it's still like last summer, but I got to the theatre at 6AM and was second in line for SRO. So, be prepared to entertain yourself for a couple hours.

I've had luck getting there at 9 am and getting primo standing tickets....I've also seen standing tickets still available at showtime.
I went on Sunday and at 10 AM there were only 2 people. I came back at 11:30 in the hopes of getting cancellation tickets at was 10th in line but they only had SRO so I ditched. Now I am kicking myself for it because I REALLY wanna see the cast before it splits up... I might try again this Sunday.

Wow! I guess that demand isn't as great as it was last summer. I should have waited to see the show...just kidding! LOL! :)

I went the Friday before Tim Curry and Sara Ramirez left. I got there at about 7:50 and was fifth in line. I would assume after this coming Sunday the SRO crowd won't be too large.

Right, that's why I said that after this Sunday the crowd probably won't be as large as they used to be.
Where do you actually stand for Spamalot SRo? Are the tickets worth it? Would you be able to see by sitting on the floor?
thanks
You stand behind the orchestra seats in a specific area. You wouldn't be able to sit on the floor, because the standing area is behind a 3+ foot wall. You also are not allowed to sit on the floor during intermission or anything because of firecode issues.
When I went there were 3 seats next to me in the front row empty, so a few fast thinking SRO people hurried their way down during intermission and got great seats for the second act. If you cant get tickets deff. do SRO because it is a great show and then do something like that. There are generally a few open seats from what I understand...
I was so happy for the 2 girls next to me cause they were all the way from California on spring break. :)
