Saw "Spamalot" last night. Packed house and good crowd. Right before curtain, a tall and handsome fellow rushes in and sits across from me, both of on the aisles. It was HANK AZARIA! What a cool and puzzling thing to see him, as he wasn't in the show and I thought he was still filming "Huff". Turns out it was the ADORABLE (And quite buff) Alan Tudyk's last night. It was fun to watch him enjoy the show, and share an occassional glance or nod to one of the folks onstage. Chris Sieber seemed to enjoy that Hank was out there in row D!
The curtain speech for BC/EFA fundraiser was preceded by the announcement that it was Alan's final performance, and the crowd roared with applause, moving him to tears. And Hank was beaming and cheering too. It was an awesome and special night.
I'm with Meredith on this one. You lucky, lucky...duck. :P That's so awesome.

Did they do a speech for him or just announce it was his last show? He was really great in the role. I wish him the best of luck in the future! Wish I was there!
DHPierce said some lovely things about him and Alan clearly was emotional about it and the cast seemed to really be fond of him, and Hank looked very proud as well.
I will miss Alan---I saw him 3 times as Sir Lancelot, et al. And really enjoyed him! However, I'm looking forward to seeing hank tomorrow night!! You are really lucky, and I'm happy for you!!!
