Gary Beach as "King Arthur" Miami Herald review.

that is pretty amazing stuff right there
Seriously?
Did he see the same show I saw in Boston several weeks back?
And as for the sound being too loud? I could barely hear it, and I was in the orchestra.

Hey, I saw the Spamalot tour last night in Birmingham, AL, and I thought it was a great night out at the theater. I wasn't all that impressed with Gary Beach. He was good - no doubt - but I thought other people stole the show from him. Ester Stilwell was okay. I can't imagine anyone can as good as the OBC, but I thought she was pretty okay. Her comedic timing was great at some points, but lackluster (Whatever happened to my part) at other points. The new "posh spice" line was okay, but I miss the whole bit about tony awards and stuff. The production values were great, especially for a tour, and I thought everyone brought some great energy to the show. I'm still not sure how this show beat Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, but it was an okay show. I still think Piazza, Spelling Bee, and Dirty Rotten are all superior shows.
I saw Gary Beach here in Miami and though he was great. Something was off with the production though. I just didnt feel the energy. I never quite got into it. It could've been the audience (Miami audiences are SLOW.) but I'm not sure. Ester was not that great. Her vocals weren't powerful enough. My parents saw the OBC so they were especially harsh. But i still love the show. just wasnt the best performance. :) p.s. Gary was great in Les Miz.
