Les Miserables does have a performance this coming Tuesday (Christmas Day). The added matinee on Thursday 12/27 is actually covering for New Year's Day when the theatre will be dark.

Well, Fan2 .. not to burst your bubble, but all the things that you mention already happen nightly (and matinees too). A standing ovation at the end of "I Am What I Am" is quite a common occurrence. As is applauding the lead actors upon their entrances. Also, the show has only been running a little more than seven months, and that includes a month of previews. Well maybe they played for an extra month at the "Marquee" before moving to the "Marquis".
