#0Spamalot seating question
Posted: 9/13/05 at 2:14amMy wife and I will be visiting NY in October. We are going to see Spamalot. I have the opportunity to get box B either seats 1 and 2 or 3 and 4. Considering that the box is listed as PV, which would better seats 1 and 2 or 3 and 4? Thanx in advance.

Posted: 9/13/05 at 3:32pmthe boxes are very partial view, as they have two large set pieces blocking your views of stage left and right.

Posted: 9/13/05 at 5:16pmI checked Telecharge and they just show boxes no seat locations. But 1an2 upfront and 3and4 to the rear makes sense. As box D is further away from the stage than Box C, does it make sense to believe that the partial view is not 'too' bad?

Posted: 9/13/05 at 5:25pmThe seats are partial view there will be some things that you won't be able to see. When I was there people were leaning out over the edge of the box to see the french taunter. but they are still better seats than not seeing the show at all.

Which side of the theater are the boxes on? If you are going to see more of David Hyde Pierce, I'd go for one on the right side of the stage.
You really won't miss too much, regardless.

Much of the Shubert is partial view, the sets kind of compromise things here. Anyway, I had orch H15 (to the left) and indeed, some stuff was obscured. The balcony here is rather steep, and if you wear bifoculs as I do kind of tough viewing.
Never the less, Tim Curry is so much fun to watch for his facial expressions, close and to the side is still much better than high and far back.
