So I saw Spamalot on Wednesday afternoon.
Oh my good lord.
I was a little worried because we had balcony seats and when we got there I saw that we couldn't see the end of the stage. Luckily, we didn't miss anything.
I hard a hard time restraining myself from shouting out all of the lines, but I managed. Needless to say the show was a lot of fun. I'm a huge Hank Azaria fan, and he was wonderful, as were David Hyde Pierce and Tim Curry. I was particularly taken with Christopher Sieber. He was a lot of fun to watch. And I came to the conclusion that I want to be Sara Ramirez. She's a beautiful actress with an amazing voice. I also thought Michael McGrath was great as Patsy. My favorite numbers were probably "His Name Is Launcelot", "The SOng That Goes Like This", and "Diva's Lament".
My two favorite things in the world...musical theater and Monty Python...together. It was a great show and I can't wait to see it again, though I'll probably have to wait until next year to do it. Maybe next time I'll get seat A101. A man called David Connors was sitting there that day. Lucky bastard. :)
